A journey to the earth's interior; or, Have the poles really been discovered by Gardner, Marshall B. (Marshall Blutcher), Publication date Topics Cosmogony Publisher Aurora, Ill., The author Collection library_of_congress; americana Digitizing sponsor The Library of Congress Contributor The Library of Congress. Marshall B. Gardner, a hollow-earth proponent, attempts to come up with a scientific hypothesis to explain the formation of hollow planets. A very readable book. One of the most enjoyable parts of which is Gardner's fantasy account of a journey into the interior of the hollow earth, which, while not up to the standards of Jules Verne, seems.

A Journey to the Center of the Earth → Journey to the Center of the Earth – The novel's original title is simply Voyage au centre de la terre. As demonstrated at length elsewhere on this talk page, A Journey to the Center of Earth (with the indefinite article) is a less faithful and statistically less popular variant of the most common.   Luckily, through this site, I was able to find not only a digital edition of the book, but one of the exact same translation. In short, A Journey to the Centre of the Earth is pure, first-rate science fiction, and for any Verne fans out there a positive must-read. Top notch from perhaps the best author of his time/5(5).

After descending through a volcano into the Earth's interior, the setting is fictional locations inside Earth. Regarding actual locations, the story begins in Hamburg, Germany in the spring of A Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne, a free text and ebook for easy online reading, study, and reference. A Journey to the Center of the Earth, alternatively translated as A Journey to the Interior of the Earth is Verne's subterranean science fiction novel about interconnecting volcanic tubes providing access to the earth's core.
